When God was to create heaven and earth, there was a process involved. When He first created heaven and earth, the bible says it was without form and void, darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. God pronounced light to come and there was light and God saw that the light was good; He then separated light from the darkness. God called light day and darkness night. The evening and the morning became the first day of God’s creation.
The processes of creating heaven and earth with all other ingredients that made it livable, comfortable and convenient for the man God created, took God six days. On the seventh day, when He was satisfied of His creation, He breathed life into the man he had formed of the dust of ground and the man became living soul. So also every herb and plant begin to grow as a result of the mist that came from the earth to water the face of the ground. God has laid a foundation of processes and procedure in all that we need to do in life. This is an example for Believers in Christ to follow.
To attain our dreams, we grow through processes; we do not jump into achieving set goals or attaining a position neither do we fly into it. We go through a thread, developmental processes, learning, undergoing a tutelage etc.

Biblical Growing up to Fly Personalities
• Abraham. God exalted Abraham because all through his life, he was living under the instructions and directives of God. He unquestioningly at 75, obeyed the call of God to live his home country to an undesignated land where he will become founder of a new nation and also asked to sacrifice his only son Isaac whom he had at 100 as a test of his faith. Abraham grew up to be flying personality without jumping the queue. Gen. 24:1 says And Abraham was old and well stricken in age and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. Gen. 22:17-18. Abraham lacked nothing because of his faithfulness to God.
• Samuel. He was the son of Hannah and was given to Eli, the High Priest, to present to God at Shiloh. Samuel ministered to God with the Eli at the tabernacle. He has the favour of God upon him because he was a faithful young man. Samuel sought Gods advice and abided by the decision of God. Samuel grew up to become a judge and a prophet.
David: David was a sherpard looking after the sheep in the bush when he was invited to be anointed by Samuel as a waiting king to take over from Saul. David was filled with courage , He approached Goliath with just a staff, a slingshot and five stones and with one shot, Goliath was killed. David later became a King of Isreal. 1Samuel 16:13. David had several opportunities to kill king Saul and take over the throne but he never did because he knew it was not yet his time to be King despite the fact that God had anointed him King to take over from Saul.
• Joseph: Joseph becoming a Prime Minister was as a result of his honesty and loyalty Joseph was not greedy and not ready to cut corners. He was exalted to the position of Prime Minister.

Factors to be considered in growing up
• Patience: Galatians 6: 9 says “let’s not weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Psalm 27:14 “wait unto thy lord, be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait, I say, on the lord. The pains and trauma some of the personalities mentioned had gone through did not debar or discouraged them from trusting God. It was part of the processes that brought them to the throne of blessings.
Obedience: John 15:14 “You are my friends if you do what I command”. To obey God in totality is to command God’s confidence in us as He did in the life of Abraham.”
Hard work: 2Timothy2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 1 Corinthians 3:6. I have planted Apollos watered but God gave increase.”
Honesty: Proverbs 11:3 “The integrity of the upright shall guide them but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them”
Loyalty: Our loyalty must be to God. In Act 5:29 Peter and other Apostles tell the people that they are to obey God not man.
Prayerfulness: Bible says pray without season. Pray until things happened.
