In the journey of life, achieving God’s purpose in ones life does not just happened.  It takes a divine guidance, seeing beyond the physical events and the activities around us. To bring into manifestation the purpose and promises of God in our lives, your eyes must have been opened spiritually to see beyond the ordinary, so that when a supernatural appearance occurs in your vision or dream you will be able to understand the revelation it conveys.

Jeremiah1:11-13 11 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.13 And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north”.

For better understanding, After God had touched Jeremiah’s mouth with his hand; Jeremiah’s sense of vision to perceive external objects and his inward perception of the knowledge of supernatural sight became alive.

In all circumstances, we must see beyond the physical appearance of all engagements, understanding the knowledge of spiritual hidden things of prophecy and visions just as Caleb’s spiritual insight into possessing the land of Canaan. The woman of issues of blood saw spiritual healing hidden in the helms of garment of Jesus; she touched it and became healed.

What propel you to see?  As a believer we can understand the marvellous plans, the purpose and promises of God in our lives only if our spiritual eyes are opened. Ordinarily, you do not just see spiritually, a circumstance must trigger your seeing if you have the ability to see and have spiritual perception of what you will see and working towards its realisation.  These factors can propel you to see depending on the circumstances you find youself:

  1. When God wants to give you assignment. Jeremiah 1: 9-13
  2. When you are in a difficult situation and wants to be set  free from bondage Jeremiah 24:3
  3. When God wants to guide, lead and support you.
  4. When God wants to remind you of His promises and its manifestation.
  5. Environment can determine what you see. (Community, workplace, social gathering, friendship, etc.)

Inward Perception of what you see.  Believers need to function in the ability to see beyond the ordinary.  Our natural eyes can see but cannot see into the reality of things the way they are, according to the plans, purpose and works of God in our lives.

  • Genesis 25, 27, Jacob and Esau. Esau did not attach any importance to his birth right because of his spiritual short sightedness; he exchanged his natural right for a plate of food. This single action hunted him and was robbed of a fatherly blessing.
  • I Samuel 17, David and Goliath. If Goliath has spiritual eyes to see that David was God’s anointed he wouldn’t have underrated him.
  • Genesis 37: 1-4, Joseph and his brothers. If Joseph brothers had the understanding that his destiny could not be scuttled, probably they would have joined hands together to nurture him towards the realisation of God’s purpose upon his life which would have been a blessing to all of them without a delay.

 Manifestation of Inward Perception.

  1. You need to see clearly

1King 18:43  43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.

  • Know your co-travellers and be in agreement. Amos 3 : 3 “ Can two work together, except they be agreed”  The men that went with Joshua and Caleb to spy at the Canaan land were not in agreement  spiritually and physically.
  • Be courageous and be Bold Numbers 13: 30, Numbers 1
  • Be persistent and be committed to God.  Numbers 14: 6 -7
  • Be Battle ready Numbers 14
  • Have faith in God and be Faithful
  • Don’t fear your enemies.
  • Be spiritually filled to be able to see beyond the ordinary
  • Humble yourself in obedience to the words of God; so that your eyes can be opened to the supernatural hidden prophesy.

Conclusion

It is important to note that we need  divine guidance from God because whatever decision we take can determine our destiny . Only God knows the right steps and the right people around you. Daniel 2: 22

  • What is your inward perception of what you see in your daily activities?
  • What is your inward perception on the promises of God concerning His words upon your life?
  • In your perception, are you seeing the assumed impossibility becoming possible.

Father open my eyes to know the secret of my home, my marriage, my health, my business and everything that concerneth me according to your word in Jeremiah 33:3  that says “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and [a  mighty things, which you do not know.”’
